With one more advancement behind him, Alex has advanced to second level Camo belt - Lion level. He is so good! During the testing his teacher even acknowledged that he can do his forms and one steps without a helper. That is a huge accomplishment and says volumes about his dedication to acheiving his black belt. At the end of the ceremony, Mrs. Frentz called up one student from each belt and gave them a special pin that signifies a student that pays attention and behaves well. Alex received that pin and was just beaming. Maybe I should try giving out pins at home!!! This testing was a special one because Grandma was there for the first time. Grandma's rock!

He looks so proud and adorable. I love being able to see pictures of your life. It's as close as I can get to hanging out with you right now. I tried Dillon in a martial arts class, but he got tired of doing snap kicks and decided he was done. We'll try again later.
