Two down, one to go

Shea and Alex are at CampNanaPaca this week and so Cody and I are definitely having a little one on one time. It is amazing how obedient he is without anyone prodding him along and using him as a scapegoat for all the wrongdoings that seem to clutter our lives. So, with Shea and Alex MIA, Cody and I have a very open social schedule. We are at Grandma and Grandpa's house in Utah, but Grandma and Grandpa are in Europe so Cody and I are literally, alone. What do I do in a house that is clean? With no laundry to do? With no dishes to wash? When it is 100 degrees outside? How do I fill the moments? Well, let's see. We have watched Go, Diego, Go a thousand times. We have watched the Wiggles, The Big Red Car a million times. We have completed the set of four Spiderman puzzles at least 20 times each. I must say, the kid has a knack for puzzles. I have come to appreciate his personality and his unique spirit. He is a very intuitive little boy that loves a good adventure but also keeps mom within sight. I catch him watching me out of the corner of his eye. I wish I had a week alone with each of my kids. Everyone needs a little one on one every once in a while. Here is the gold at the end of the rainbow. We saw an ice cream shop tonight and Cody asked if we could go there someday. I said sure, thinking this was the best idea he'd had yet. His reply was: "Not until Shea and Alex get home." He misses them as much as I do. I know they are having the time of their lives, but I miss them just the same. Do they miss me??? Probably not.

This is just the begining...

Well, here I go. I am finally jumping on the bandwagon. Every family in America, well actually the world, has a family website to show off their wonderful families and share life's tragedies and triumphs. So with much anticipation, here come the Jones'!
